Plan de estudios
The Global MBA for Latin American Managers (formerly known as MIMLA) is a graduate program jointly offered via distance learning technology by Tecnológico de Monterrey and Thunderbird. It is a 21-month long program, and you can now apply for the next start of classes in August 2010.
It is an executive program that has been designed to prepare Latin American managers for success in the highly competitive and dynamic global business environment.
Classes are offered every 15 days, during the weekend (Fridays in the afternoon and Saturdays all day long). It is not a 100% virtual program because you have to attend classes on each session.
It has a 3-step format:
This program is offered through the Virtual University of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and classes are given by professors of EGADE (25%) and Thunderbird (75%). A facilitator is present in the classroom and will help you clear your doubts and answer your questions. He will also give a part of the session so you have the great advantage to have 2 professors for the same class.
Students graduating from the program will receive a Global MBA degree signed by both Thunderbird and Tecnológico de Monterrey: one in English, recognized in the US as any other diploma of the country; and one in Spanish, recognized in Mexico by the Education Department (SEP).
The program is currently offered in several campus and Global MBA sites of Latin America: Monterrey, Mexico City (Santa Fe, Mexico State and Mexico City) and Guadalajara in Mexico; Miami in the US; San Jose in Costa Rica; San Salvador in El Salvador; Bogota in Colombia and Lima in Peru.
