Taught by blended distance learning, only 2 weeks of on campus teaching plus exams            (1 week in October, 1 week in February, 4 exams held during February & June)
The University offers a well-established Foundation Degree Logistics work-based learning course. It has been recognised that there is a need for a progression course for those employed full time. In order to support career progression and open up new opportunities at managerial level, the part time BSc Logistics and Operations Management course has been developed on a work based blended distance learning basis.
The course aims to develop an understanding of managerial processes involved with the procurement, movement, storage and use of resources throughout the supply chain.

Temario

The BSc Logistics & Operations Management course is a progression pathway with a 120 credits weighting and is designed to give a route from foundation degrees to a BSc. It is offered to those who hold 240 credits from an Aston Foundation Degree in Logistics or equivalent.

The course has six modules in addition to the final year research project and is delivered over two years.  Modules are worth 10 and 20 credits with the research project worth 30 credits.

Duration:
2 years work based blended distance learning (only 2 weeks of on campus teaching per year, plus exams)

Location of course:
Distance Learning incorporates work-based learning.  There will be a requirement to attend Aston University for an induction & teaching/tutorials for 1 week in October, 1 teaching/tutorials week in February, and to sit examinations in May.


Entry requirement: An Aston Foundation degree in Logistics or equivalent qualification. As this is a work-based learning programme you must also be working in a relevant field.
