This course is available as a masters (MSc), postgraduate diploma (PG Dip), or postgraduate certificate (PG Cert).

PG Cert Banking and Finance – Two 30 credit modules
By the end of this course you will be able to apply finance tools and techniques in a variety of decision making contexts for banking. You'll also receive valuable training in specialist databases and software packages, such as Stata. This minimum level of postgraduate study will equip you with the theory and practice needed to communicate and evaluate empirical work, enhancing your employability in the banking and finance sector.


PG Dip Banking and Finance – Two 30 credit modules plus an additional four 15 credit modules
This course goes further than the PG Cert to explore financial derivative products, international financial regulation, financial risk management and key aspects of corporate finance. You'll learn the relevant theories associated with these subjects and how to apply them to practical situations in the financial sector. By the end of this course, you'll have the confidence, skills and knowledge to research and disseminate financial data to support arguments and draw valuable conclusions.


MSc Banking and Finance – Two 30 credit modules, four 15 credit modules plus a dissertation
The MSc goes one step further than a PG Dip to allow you the opportunity to bring together the knowledge and skills developed throughout the course and apply them to an original research project. This is a chance for you to extend your knowledge of a selected topic and to apply it to the formulation and design of a substantive investigation.
