Course suitability

The course is suitable for the absolute beginner as well as those wishing to develop their knowledge in the subject.

Information about the course

NCFE Creative Craft in Sugar Flowers  Level One.

On this course students will learn the art of creating beautiful realistic flowers in sugar, either as a hobby or to use a decoration on cakes.

Flowers to be made will vary from the humble daffodil to the exotic orchid and many species in between.

Learn to arrange and wire flowers into posies and sprays to produce delightful results.

Additionality

When will I receive my results?

Results will be forwarded on as soon as they are received at the college.  Please note that certificates, where awarded, can take up to 4 months to be received at the college before forwarding on to learners.

Assessment

Two practically based assessments.

One portfolio of work.

Progression

Sugar Flowers Level Two subject to numbers enrolling.

Additional fee information

All materials are provided e.g. flower paste, food colours and wires.

Personal equipment needed between £30 - £40. The equipment list will be provided by tutor on enrolment.
