BA Television Production focuses on areas such as idea development, writing, directing, producing and researching as well as specialist TV studio roles such as Floor Manager, Gallery Production Assistant and Studio Director.



BA Television Production (Technical Arts) allows you to specialise in a variety of technical operating roles, both within our superb Sony built TV Studio as well as location environments. These include Camera, Lighting, Sound, Editing, Vision Mixing and Vision Control.



As you progress through your degree you will also be given the opportunity to further specialise in the specific production roles aligned to your individual talents and passions.

¿Qué objetivos tiene esta formación?

Requisitos: We will ask you to attend an interview and take part in a structured group activity as part of the application process. The interview will be with a lecturer from the Television Production degree and will take around two hours at the University, including the group activity. During the interview we would like to see you demonstrate a passion for television production and moving image practice in general. Temario

In the first year you will develop a deep understanding of the television industry and gain substantial practical production skills in single and multi camera projects that will train you in the multiple skills the industry demands today.

In the second and third years, there is a greater opportunity to focus on production and craft skills, with optional modules in television production and post production technologies, documentary, drama, studio entertainment and making productions on demand for real clients.

You will continue to learn through lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops, spending many hours working on locations and in our fully equipped Sony television studio. It's an exciting, vibrant and stimulating environment that will give you essential experience both working in a real production team and taking on specific roles and responsibilities.
